Candlelighters is a non-profit, local organization that provides different programs and services to young cancer patients and their families in the national capital region of Canada.
Their vision is to ensure that 100% of children and teens diagnosed with cancer in the national capital & surrounding region get the support they need.
Their main mission is to enrich the lives of children, and their families, coping with childhood cancer and to promote awareness and understanding of the impact of childhood cancer on their lives.

The Dave Smith Youth Treatment Center is a non for profit agency located in Ottawa, Ontario. The agency has been providing support and serving young generations and their families for 28 years now. The agency is dedicated to helping youth between the ages of 13 and 21 to overcome substance use and any related issues by providing support throughout different programs.
The programs include comprehensive assessment, 3-month residential treatment, 3-month post-residential continuing in addition to family services such as counselling and support. The program doesn’t require any professional referrals and there are no formal fees required to access the program.
The organization was established in 1993 by Dave Smith, and today in 2021, the organization is still passionate and dedicated to ensuring that every person who needs help will receive it.
